Criminal Justice

The Criminal Justice program offered by Anthem College Online uses a career-focused approach to prepare students to enter the criminal justice profession.

Our Criminal Justice program focuses on the criminal justice system and introduces students to the basics of criminology. They are trained in investigative techniques, the adversarial system, and firearms theory.

General education and core courses support the concentration classes and include topics on management, communications, psychology, and computer applications. A career success course teaches students to identify opportunities for career advancement as well as important life skills such as time and financial management.

Students can earn either an associate of science or bachelor of science degree online. Students in the bachelor’s program select an area of concentration in police, corrections, or juvenile justice. Both degrees prepare students for entry-level positions. The bachelor’s degree, however, includes courses and training that can help them pursue more advanced positions.

Students who attend the Anthem College Online have more flexibility to decide when to attend class, and from where. While they must attend classes within a certain timeframe, they can log in to class around the clock, from any secure Internet site. Once they are logged in, they view lectures with interactive technologies woven in to keep them engaged and interested. Online forums let students interact with each other and with their instructors
